Programs & Initiatives

Turning lived experience into structured pathways for growth.

These initiatives translate Dr. Shipman’s research, personal story, system experience, and behavioral-health leadership into structured programs for organizations and communities.

Pathway to Renewal (P2R)

Pathway to Renewal P2R by Dr. Kerry L. Shipman

A structured reflection and growth framework for justice-involved and high-barrier populations, focused on identity, accountability, emotional awareness, coping, relationships, stability, and purpose.

Best fit: reentry providers, peer-support programs, behavioral health agencies, transitional programs, and community organizations.

The Fatherhood Blueprint

A developing book, workshop, and curriculum for young, unexpected, and rebuilding fathers. It starts with the father—not just parenting technique—because responsibility, emotional maturity, stability, and identity shape how a man shows up for his child.

Best fit: schools, fatherhood initiatives, youth programs, community organizations, reentry programs, and men’s groups.

Healing for Men

A culturally grounded framework around emotional literacy, mental health, trauma, discipline, father wounds, relationships, purpose, and identity. It is especially responsive to Black men and men impacted by high barriers, while remaining inclusive of men from varied backgrounds.

Formats: keynote, workshop, cohort discussion, community program, and organizational curriculum.

Justice & Reentry Training

Training for systems and professionals serving court-involved and returning populations, with emphasis on trauma, family support, cultural humility, mandated engagement, behavioral health coordination, peer support, and practical reentry system design.

Best fit: courts, probation/parole, jails, community providers, universities, behavioral health agencies, and reentry coalitions.

Programs are adapted to the setting—not copied and pasted into it.
